Supervised by: Kristin Henshaw, M.S., LMFT-S

Catherine Kahla graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in History and a Teaching Certificate from Texas State University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Sam Houston State University and will graduate this August. As a former CFISD middle school teacher, Catherine enjoys working with adolescents and young adults. Catherine also specializes in working with individuals of all ages who struggle with depression, anxiety, and/or PTSD. Her goal as your counselor is to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship with you in a judgement-free zone where you feel safe and comfortable working through ‘the hard stuff’. Together, you and Catherine will work to create an individualized treatment plan based on your goals of counseling. Catherine will implement evidence-based techniques to help you reach your goals and will walk with you on your journey of healing. She looks forward to meeting you!
