Amber Treybig graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. Amber then completed her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. For clinical internship,  Amber served as a Practicum Student at Cy-Hope Counseling providing counseling to children, teens, adults, families, and couples. Upon graduating from ACU, Amber joined the Cy-Hope Counseling staff and is currently supervised under Cynthia Carter, M.S., LPC-S, LMFT-S.  

Amber has a focus on working with couples, families, and children and adults navigating life transitions or self-esteem issues. She primarily utilizes the therapeutic approaches of: the Gottman method, narrative therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Working as a team you and Amber will strategically create an individualized treatment plan based on your desired goals. She looks forward to supporting individuals, families, couples, and children wherever they may be on their journey.
