Let’s Get to Know Each Other
Hi! I'm Brandy. I’m a newly licensed therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals of all ages as they navigate life’s transitions. I believe that growth happens in a supported, safe, and encouraging environment—and I strive to offer exactly that to every client I meet.
I work best with teens and young adults who are exploring identity, building confidence, or learning how to manage life changes. I also enjoy working with adults navigating the complexities of parenthood or major transitions. Whether we’re talking about relationships, personal growth, or emotional overwhelm, my focus is always on helping you uncover your strengths and use them to create the change you want to see.
When I'm not working collaboratively with clients, I love spending time with my husband and our three kids. I also enjoy working out, baking, learning new hobbies, and getting lost in a good book. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University.
What Clients Can Expect
I meet clients where they are and walk alongside them as they take the next steps. I build connection through common ground, trust, and gentle encouragement, helping clients uncover their own strengths and inner resources. You can expect a collaborative and supportive environment where we’ll work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you.
Strengths as a Therapist
My greatest strength is building genuine, trusting relationships—especially with middle schoolers and teens. I help young clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I also work well with adults navigating family dynamics or parenting stress, and I enjoy helping families better understand and support each other.
Ideal Client
My ideal client is a teen or young adult who is learning how to build confidence, navigate important life transitions, and explore their identity. I enjoy helping clients move from uncertainty to a place of empowerment and clarity.
Treatment Approaches
I use a tailored approach to meet each client’s needs, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Strengths-Based Therapy
Person-Centered Therapy
Together, we’ll build practical tools to manage emotions, challenge unhelpful thinking, and develop lasting resilience.
