Let’s Get to Know Each Other
Hi, I’m Cinzia. My path to counseling began after a career in work where organization, attention to detail, and integrity were at the heart of everything I did. While those skills continue to serve me well, my heart has always been drawn to understanding people’s stories and helping them navigate life’s challenges. I’m also an avid traveler who loves exploring new places and cultures, it’s taught me to see the world from many perspectives and to appreciate the unique journey each person takes. My growing passion for supporting both children and adults through trauma has led me to this practicum experience, where I’m eager to learn, grow, and walk alongside clients in their path toward healing.
What Clients Can Expect
When you meet with me, you can expect a space where you feel truly heard, respected, and supported. I believe therapy is a partnership, and I work to create an atmosphere where you feel safe to share openly, whether we’re exploring past experiences, navigating current challenges, or building skills for the future. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and move forward together at a pace that feels right for you.
Strengths as a Therapist
I bring the steadiness, reliability, and careful attention to detail that my past career required, and pair it with genuine empathy and curiosity for your story. I’m a lifelong learner who’s excited to integrate new counseling techniques so that each session is tailored to your unique needs. You can count on me to be consistent, prepared, and fully present during our time together.
Ideal Client
I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to explore their experiences—whether they’re seeking clarity, healing, or personal growth. You don’t need to have everything figured out; you just need a willingness to be open and take small steps toward change. I especially connect with clients who want to build resilience, understand themselves more deeply, and create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
Treatment Approaches
My approach is rooted in creating a safe and compassionate environment. I draw from a variety of counseling models, especially trauma-informed practices, to meet you where you are. We’ll work together to explore challenges, identify strengths, and find strategies that help you move forward. My hope is to provide a space where you feel empowered, supported, and equipped to embrace the changes you’re seeking. “A counselor with you in mind.”
