Let’s Get to Know Each Other

Hi, I’m Erin. I’m a practicum student counselor passionate about creating a warm, connected space where clients can feel safe, seen, and supported. My approach is rooted in deep empathy, authenticity, and trust. I believe in the healing power of relationship—and I see the strength and potential for growth in every person I work with.

I enjoy working with teens, adults, and couples—especially those navigating life transitions, grief, identity shifts, or relationship challenges. I also support pre- and postpartum parents and individuals who feel lost or overwhelmed. My style is gentle but direct, and always grounded in the belief that meaningful change is possible when we face life’s challenges together.

Outside of sessions, I love laughing with my kids, making art, doing yoga, sipping great coffee, and thrifting with my husband. I’m also devoted to my 14-year-old cat, Ernesto, who definitely thinks he’s a dog.

What Clients Can Expect

In sessions, clients can expect intentional connection, calm presence, and honest reflection. I adapt my approach based on what each client needs—whether that’s support, encouragement, insight, or tangible skills. I create a safe, collaborative space where healing can unfold at your pace, with no pressure to “have it all figured out.”

Strengths as a Therapist

I’m known for my warm energy, calming presence, and ability to hold space for the tough stuff with compassion and steadiness. I work well with clients navigating emotional complexity—offering clarity, comfort, and curiosity throughout the therapeutic process. My strengths include working with teens, young adults, and couples experiencing disconnection or transition.

Ideal Client

My ideal client is someone who is ready to show up for themselves with curiosity and a willingness to grow. I work best with teens and adults facing emotional overwhelm, grief, life transitions, or relational struggles. Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, disconnected, or just need a place to land—I’m here to walk with you through it.

Treatment Approaches

My counseling style is relational, holistic, and trauma-informed. I integrate:

  • Person-Centered Therapy

  • Attachment Theory & Parts Work (Inner Child)

  • Psychodynamic & Existential Approaches

  • CBT & DBT Techniques

  • Somatic Awareness & Mindfulness

  • Expressive Arts-Based Practices

Each session is personalized to support your unique story, pace, and goals.
