Let’s Get to Know Each Other
I’m a licensed professional counselor who’s passionate about supporting teens, young adults, college students, moms, veterans, and first responders. With a trauma-informed, EMDR-based approach, I help clients process difficult experiences and reconnect with their strengths. I believe therapy isn’t always about fixing what’s broken—it’s about using life’s challenges as raw materials to create something even better. My style is creative, collaborative, and grounded in real connection.
What Clients Can Expect
Clients can expect to feel seen, supported, and genuinely heard when working with me. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth—I create a space where people feel safe enough to explore the hard stuff while also being encouraged to grow in new and meaningful ways. I blend creative, trauma-informed methods with practical tools that clients can take with them into daily life.
Whether we’re processing trauma, navigating a transition, or exploring patterns and emotions, I offer both structure and flexibility depending on what’s needed in the moment. I aim to empower my clients—not by giving all the answers, but by helping them uncover their own insight and inner strength.
Strengths as a Therapist
One of my biggest strengths is meeting people exactly where they are—without judgment—and helping them move toward where they want to be. I enjoy bringing creativity into sessions because I believe it makes therapy feel more approachable, especially for those who feel burned out or stuck.
Ideal Client
My ideal client is someone who’s feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—but still willing to show up and do the work of healing. They don’t need to have it all figured out—just the willingness to be curious and take steps toward growth. Whether they’re creative, introverted, over-achieving, or just tired of pretending everything’s fine, I offer a grounded, safe space to unpack it all and start rebuilding something stronger.
Treatment Approaches
I use a trauma-informed, integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs. My work blends:
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Person-Centered Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Practices
Strengths-Based and Creative Techniques
Narrative and Expressive Work
This allows me to support clients in healing past wounds, building resilience, and gaining the tools they need to feel more confident and whole.

Fun Facts or Personal Note
Outside of sessions, you'll find me spending time with my family—and hopefully at the beach as often as I can. I enjoy a mix of hobbies, from knitting and hiking to cooking and loving on my dogs. Staying connected to joy and creativity outside the office helps me bring fresh energy into the therapy room.
