Let’s Get to Know Each Other
I’m a Registered Play Therapist who enjoys working with children and families navigating a wide range of concerns. I strive to connect with each client, helping them overcome challenges, reach a more positive space in life, and grow into the best version of themselves. I have a big heart for children and hold the hope that I can make as much of a positive impact in their lives as they’ve made in mine.
Fun Facts or Personal Note
I love spending time outdoors with my family and grounding myself in nature. One verse that guides my work and life is:
"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." – Proverbs 4:23
What Clients Can Expect
In our work together, children can expect a playful, nurturing space where they feel safe to express themselves, explore big emotions, and build new skills. Through play therapy, my clients often grow in emotional regulation, problem-solving, confidence, and social skills. I also support caregivers with tools and insights to reinforce this growth outside the therapy room. Whether your child is processing trauma, adjusting to changes, or learning new ways to cope, I’m here to support their healing and development with compassion and patience.
Strengths as a Therapist
My biggest strength is forming strong relationships with my clients. I deeply value the therapeutic bond and see it as the foundation for growth. I believe in the power of play and in trusting the natural pace at which children grow and learn. I also prioritize communication with caregivers so they feel empowered to support their children between sessions.
Ideal Client
I enjoy working with children of all ages who struggle with emotional expression or regulation, have experienced trauma or loss, display behavioral challenges, or are adjusting to big life changes. I also support children with social delays or difficulty navigating friendships and school dynamics.
Treatment Approaches
I tailor my approach based on the needs of each client, often using a combination of:
Play Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Person-Centered Therapy
These methods help children build emotional awareness, resilience, and connection in ways that feel natural and empowering for them.
